Caleb: I had a funny dream last night.
Mommy: What happened in the dream?
Caleb: I was in the dream. I was driving the car, and I got out of the car to talk to Grandma and Grandpa. I said, "Hey, Grandpa. Whatcha doin'?" and he just looked at me like he didn't know who I was! And then an elephant ate the car I was just driving.

While playing Bananagrams (similar to Scrabble, only there are no points and you can rearrange words during the game), Caleb had the words 'pages' and 'so'. He drew a 'U' and took the P from pages and added it to 'so' to make soup.
Caleb: Ooo! I made the word soup! Ages is a word to, so it's OK.

I truly don't think I would have thought to do that!

I was sick and Caleb was very upset about it. When Isaac was tucking Caleb in for the night, Caleb started crying just because he was sad that I wasn't feeling well. Isaac turned out the light, and was closing the door.
Caleb: Take really good care of Mommy tonight. OK, Daddy?
Isaac: I will.
Caleb: Promise?
Isaac: I promise.

*Still sick. Caleb tried to climb up on the couch to cuddle with me.
Mommy: Honey, you can't get up here because Mommy's still sick.
Caleb: OK, you don't want to get your sick on me?
Mommy: Right.
